The specially formulated, premeasured spikes are designed to be simply inserted into the soil around your plant. Jobe's Flowering Plant Spikes eliminate any mess, hazards, or unpleasant smells, and cannot be washed away when you water your plant, unlike liquid or granular fertilizers. To use, simply push the spikes into the soil around the plant until they are just below the surface, halfway between the plant stem and the edge of the pot. After inserting the spikes, be sure to water the plant. For optimal results, replace the spikes every 8 weeks during the growing season. It is important to store the spikes in a cool, dry place and keep them out of the reach of children.

The recommended number of spikes needed for different pot sizes is as follows: 10 cm (4 inches) pot, 2 spikes; 15 cm (6 inches) pot, 3 spikes; 20 cm (8 inches) pot, 4 spikes; 25 cm (10 inches) pot, 5 spikes; and 30 cm (12 inches) pot, 6 spikes.
